The Mole Integration Components
Web Services
Enterprise Application Integration can be
achieved rapidly with The Mole's Business Intelligence Web Services through the use of the HTTP protocol and
XML.
The following Business Intelligence Web Services
are available:

Content Analyzer
The Mole Content Analyzer returns an analysis result for a
document (or a set of documents) represented as key words, key phrases,
significant sentences, suggested words (refine analysis), words in phrases
context and text.

Content
Discoverer
The Mole Content Discoverer returns a search result from a
pre-indexed pool of content. The search supports both boolean and regular
expression (pattern) searches. The content survey capability returns words and phrases across the pool of content.

Content Profiler
The Mole Content Profiler returns matched and unmatched terms for
a document. This requires a Key Terms database.

Concept Search
The Mole Concept Search presents the returns key terms and
associated concepts from a Key Terms database.
3rd Party Product Connectors
The Mole 3rd Party
Product Connectors allow organizations to
tightly integrate the process of searching and selecting terms
for use in a document/content profile.
The following 3rd Party Product Connectors are available:

Interwoven Worksite
7.x
The Mole Product Connector for Interwoven WorkSite, allows an
organization to integrate the process of searching and selecting the
appropriate term for use in an Interwoven document profile.

Documentum Records Manager
The Mole Product Connector for Documentum Records Manager
clients, allows an organization to integrate a key terms management
process with their records management practice ensuring consistency of
terminology.

Microsoft Windows
API - Custom Component
The Mole Product Connector for Visual Basic and C++
clients allows an organization to integrate a key terms management process
with in-house or 3rd party developed software applications. For more information,
refer to The Mole Enterprise Edition Developers Guide, delivered
with the software.

SmartMole - Microsoft
Office XP Smart Tag
The Mole Key Terms integrated with Microsoft Office XP will
identify the use of non-preferred terminology when authoring documents.
As a document is authored if a non-preferred term is used it is
highlighted. The user is given the option to view the details of the
non-preferred term as maintained by the organization and substitute the
non-preferred term with the preferred term if applicable.
