The Mole Business Intelligence Products
The Mole is available as a single-user desktop edition or a multi-user
enterprise edition.
Following is an overview of The Mole's primary
modules.
Content Analyzer
Quickly analyze the contents of a single or multiple documents using The
Mole Content Analyzer. Content Analyzer generates abstracts from
documents (eg Word, PDF, HTML) and displays only the sentences containing the
term(s) you've selected. Content Analyzer displays all the key words and
key phrases contained in a document allowing you to quickly zero in on
important information. Through it's advanced linguistics engine, Content
Analyzer makes it easy to refine an analysis by suggesting words that have a
strong relationship with the term(s) you've selected.
Content Discoverer
Content Discoverer is like having your own search tool on your PC.
Search across your desktop or server to find documents that contain a particular
term. Content Discoverer provides a number of advanced search capabilities
including pattern matching and concept searching. Results of a search include a
key sentence to make it faster for you to determine the relevance of a
particular document. Once documents are found, Content Discoverer hands
them over to Content Analyzer for detailed analysis.
The following modules are only available with the enterprise edition.
Document
Classifier
The Mole Document Classifier offers a highly
effective solution for the automatic recognition and classification of
unstructured information. It analyses collections of documents and assigns the
documents on the basis of their properties and content to classification
structures. The classification structures are defined according to the specific
requirements of the individual customer. The training of The Mole
Document Classifier is carried out using sample document sets.
Key Terms Manager
Key Terms Manager allows you to create a custom thesaurus for your
organization that can be used by Content Discoverer to perform concept searches,
and by Content Profiler to provide an easy and consistent way for users to categorize
documents for future retrieval.
Content Profiler
Content Profiler allows users to easily assign 'key words' (from the Key
Terms Manager) to documents as they are being saved to make search and retrieval
easier.
