Austin, Texas, January 15, 2004 RFD & Associates, a leading provider of technology solutions to Texas government, and Hyperbolex Limited, a leading knowledge management software company, today announced the formation of a partnership to bring The Mole content analysis and profiling technology to Texas government agencies. The technology allows users to find relevant content faster through advanced content analysis and profiling. Through this partnership, RFD & Associates will become one of Hyperbolex’s premier partners, providing sales, implementation and training services to government agencies in the State of Texas. "Needless to say, government agencies receive and produce some rather large documents which may be in a variety of formats including PDF, Word, HTML and Excel," says Anne Davison, President of RFD & Associates. "The time spent reviewing these documents searching for relevant nuggets is considerable, so anything we can do to help simplify the process will be very well received. In fact, we’ve already received very positive responses from some of our government clients who have reviewed The Mole, so we’re looking forward to implementing this solution for our clients," said Davison. Hyperbolex COO Liz Swanston said, "We’re very excited about working with RFD & Associates to help Texas government address the challenge of ever growing volumes of unstructured data. The combination of RFD’s expertise and understanding of the information management challenges faced by government agencies and Hyperbolex’s expertise in knowledge management will be a significant value to Texas agencies."
