Ted Thomas (Chief Executive Officer)

As Chief Executive Officer, Ted has responsibility for developing the business strategy and the company's performance, and oversees the financial and contractual management of Superstructure Group. With over 20 years experience in executive management, treasury, software development, sales and marketing, Ted is well versed in the financial and operational demands of growing businesses. Previously, Ted successfully merged an international banking software business with a U.S. publicly listed company.

Liz Swanston (Business Development Director)
“To release the value within organizations you need to understand the dynamics between people, the business and the solution.”
As Business Development Director, Liz is responsible for overseeing the commercial side of the business. Liz drives business development initiatives with strategic partners and the marketing plans for the company on a worldwide basis.
Liz has over 20 years experience in taking new software products to international
markets. She has worked with international companies
and has successfully developed a company producing software products for the international banking sector. After merging the business with
a U.S. publicly listed company Liz developed and implemented processes that enabled the business to expand into the
international market.

Eddie Rogan (Aviation Solutions Director)
Eddie Rogan joined the Superstructure Team in October 2005 and is responsible for growing our worldwide aviation sector business. He has a strong technical and operational background in aviation and has earned a worldwide reputation in aviation safety with strong expertise in the Human Factors, SMS and FOQA disciplines.
Eddie worked for British Airways for 26 years, the last 10 years as a Senior Manager in their Corporate Safety and Quality Department where he was responsible for the BA Safety Information System known as BASIS. He was one of the first Human Factors practitioners in an airline and had the privilege of working with Prof. Jim Reason for two years implementing Human Factors initiatives at British Airways in the early 90s.
In his position as Aviation Solutions Director he is responsible for the future direction of our Safety and Quality Management System, AQD. His growing team of safety, quality and IT specialists provide an end to end involvement with customers, from sales, marketing, system specification, commercial contract agreements, through to on site training, consultancy services and account management.
Eddie has a First Class Honours BSc in Air Transport Engineering from The City University in London and a Diplôme d’Ingénieur from L’Ecole Nationale De L’Aviation Civile in Toulouse. He is a Chartered Engineer, Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society and has recently been elected a member of the Flight Safety Foundation Icarus Committee.
Lindsay Gault (SiD Product Director)
Lindsay has over 25 years experience in computer software development. His experience
ranges from strategic data modeling, product evaluation, project management to
hands-on development. Lindsay has been the architect of such major systems as
New Zealand Dairy Board stock systems, real time vessel tracking for New
Zealand Fisheries and Australian Electoral reporting systems.
He also successfully led an international vendor team in the performance review
of the first Australia-wide POS system for Caltex Oil. With over 10 years
specialised experience in the enforcement, security and intelligence fields,
he provides the specialist product direction for the SID (Secure Intelligence
Database) product.
Martin Penney (Sales Manager, AQD)
"Our customers are our best sales people"
As AQD Sales Manager, Martin has global responsibility for managing
the sales pipeline for our aviation business and the AQD Safety and
Quality Management System. With 8 years' experience in sales,
strategy consulting and engineering, Martin has a proven track
record of managing large accounts as well as building and closing
major software sales. Martin joined the Superstructure Team in
London in April 2007.
Prior to joining Superstructure, Martin worked for 6 years in
business development and sales for Global Freight Exchange (GF-X),
the world's leading electronic booking system for air
cargo/logistics. During this time, Martin built up GF-X's business
in EMEA introducing electronic cargo bookings into 17 major accounts
and managing over 30 clients including world class airlines and
freight forwarding companies.
Martin is passionate about aviation (his first work experience was
rebuilding B767 brakes for BA!), and has proven leadership skills
combined with strong language and communication ability. He speaks
Spanish and French fluently and is keen to practise his German.
Throughout his career he has demonstrated an ability to build very
strong relationships in an international environment and to
understand different cultures. Martin has a Masters' degree in
Manufacturing Engineering (MEng) from Cambridge University.
Ed Guzikowski (Software Development Manager)
As Software Development Manager, Ed is responsible for all aspects
of the software product development and release process.
Ed has over 15 years experience within the IT industry, which has been gained through a wide range of roles ranging from business applications to embedded applications. He specialises in C#, but has a vast and wide variety of programming language background. Ed was instrumental in the design and implementation of new e-Commerce projects that made use of the Microsoft .NET Framework. His more recent projects have involved the design and development of a Service Oriented Architecture, and managing the risks associated with projects using the Rational Unified Process (RUP).
Ed has held positions as Senior Developer, Solutions Architect, Team Lead and Project Manager before joining Superstructure.
Bryan Ketley (Chief Technology Officer)
Bryan has overall responsibility for technical architectures within the group. He
has over 20 years of IT experience and was the architect of the NZCAA MIS
system, which included a comprehensive document management system and custom
development environment.
Bryan has architected a highly regarded bridging component between i2’s
Analyst’s Notebook product and IBM’s DB2 environment along with a .NET
based application to manage aviation exams for CASA in Australia.
Roy Anderson (Chief Scientist)
“People face many challenges some of which can be met effectively with existing technologies but others that require technologies to be conceived and
developed.”
As Chief Scientist, Roy brings extensive software development and software design experience to
Superstructure Group. Roy has been
architecting and developing software
since 1985 with special interest in information systems and language analysis. His vision is to develop software applications that are instrumental in
changing the way people interact with information to discover knowledge. Roy continues to use his visionary concepts and extensive product
knowledge to keep Superstructure Group at the forefront of technology and has become a leader in this field.
Roy has worked in the academic, government, and commercial domains. While learning from current technologies, he looks for the most appropriate solutions to meet actual
needs, even when this may require a novel approach.
