Senior Software Engineers

Can you make computers twist, spin and dance? Do you enjoy the thrill and buzz of discovering novel ideas when creating and designing software products? Are you interested in designing and developing software products that can make a difference? Superstructure-Upshot is looking for talented Software Engineers who enjoy programming software that can help make a difference to people all around the world.

You will be located in Wellington, New Zealand working as part of small teams on The Mole, using the latest tools and methodologies. The Mole product range is based on Windows and Java technologies.

This is a rare opportunity for people with software product experience, demanding real drive and enthusiasm to complement that of our world-class team.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of Windows product development experience.

• Java application experience.

• Extensive experience programming in C/C++/COM and OO skills.

• Extensive knowledge of Windows SDK and Win32 API. 

• SQL Server, Oracle or Sybase experience. 

• Proven talent with HTML. 

• Experience with any of the following is a big plus: UI development, multithreaded software, Windows NT security, and network protocols. 

• Clear appreciation of usability. 

• Strong desire to ship products and work in a small team is required. 

• Understanding or experience in the .NET framework (C#). 

• A BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent.
